Towson University Stormwater Management
– PROJECT –
Overview
Towson University contracted Ecotone to complete rehabilitation construction and retrofitting for seven (7) stormwater conveyance and best management practice (BMP) facilities located throughout the Towson University campus.
Ecotone retrofitted two bioretention facilities, one associated with the Johnny Unitas Stadium and the other located next to the Towsontown Parking Garage. Ecotone also replaced damaged and outdated stormwater conveyance infrastructure with new systems that meet modern standards. This included the complete replacement of an endwall and heavily damaged surface concrete conveyance channel with subsurface piping and manholes for improved stormwater conveyance.
